Tendai has a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) Degree in Finance, an MBA from the London Business School and is a CFA level three candidate. She has worked with on various impact funds as a senior portfolio manager and was an advisor on a number of impact fund mandates for DFIs.
She started her career in corporate finance in investment banks and proceeded to join the impact investing world as a consultant starting off at KPMG where she spent five years as a manager in International Development Advisory Services. She then moved to ClearlySo Limited where she worked in Deal Advisory.
Tendai has advised and led on various financial transactions in companies in renewable energy, health and wellbeing, financial services, agri-business, manufacturing, climate change adaptation, civil engineering and mining sectors with a focus on private sector development and international development.
