Project Coordinator
ThirdWay Partners are currently looking to employ a Project Coordinator on a three-year contract basis. The Project Coordinator would play an integral role in supporting and coordinating all project-related tasks pertaining to the SWITCH project on behalf of ThirdWay Partners. The role would encompass end-end project management, including but not limited to; partner coordination, reporting, coordinating all project-related activities, stakeholder management, and ultimately ensuring the successful delivery of the project. This individual would also be responsible for supporting the development a project-specific business and financial case for each project partner, pursuing engagements on alternative economies and uses of recycled plastics, and for identifying financing opportunities for project continuation and expansion to additional countries.

Project Profile:
The SWITCH project is a UNIDO-sponsored and EU- and Finland-funded program that supports the transition towards a circular economy by engaging EU plastic producers and suppliers in developing countries to develop and execute on pilots that achieve circularity goals. A pilot will be run in the Moroccan cities of Marrakech, Fez, and Casablanca to support the development of bottle-to-bottle objectives for Equatorial Coca-Cola Bottling Company, and will include multiple organizations responsible for household collection, point of sale collection, rPET recycling and conversion.
Responsibilities:
Project managing and supporting the execution of the project on the ground in Morocco
Coordinating project partners, including leading weekly team calls and supporting the development of frequent progress reports
Working closely with project partners to ensure that timelines are adhered to, particularly with regards to defined milestones and deliverables
Updating the project steering committee on project progress, as well as on risk management strategies
Developing a business and financial case for the continuation of the project on a partner-specific basis in Morocco
Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to identify rPET offtake opportunities as well as financing opportunities for project continuation and expansion to additional geographies
Developing donor-facing annual reports, as well as publicly available project reports
Supporting the TWP team on additional PMO and strategic initiatives
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, business and / or engineering
Excellent communication skills, including Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel proficiency
Fluent in English, French, and Arabic
2-5 years of project management work
[Optional] Experience in circularity and sustainability
